William Archer
William Archer, 71, of Redstone Street, Bristol, passed away March 24, 2011, at The Pines of Bristol.
He was the husband of Doris A (Depoister) Archer. He was born in China Sept. 1, 1939, the son of the late Ralph J. and Jennie Archer.
He worked for Honeywell Co. in New Britain for 25 years before he retired 25 years ago.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, William D. and his wife, Heather, Archer; two daughters, Mary Frances and her husband, David Rice, and Patricia Ann Archer; grandchildren, Isis Archer, Michael Lawrence Archer, Melonie West, Lisa Williams, Brian Williams, Anthony and his wife, Wendy Archer and Haley Archer; two great-grandchildren, Elijah Gagliando and Jeremiah Archer.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 26, 2011, at 10 a.m., at Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol, CT 06010. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour before the service. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. www.dunnfh.com.
