Scott Gagner, 56, of 246 Indian Trail, Bristol,formally of Weymouth MA, passed away on Friday, (April 17, 2009)after a brief illness with cancer. Scott was born in Southington on February 11, 1953 the son of Norma (Scott) Gagner and the late Donald Gagner. He was a veteran in the Army. He served his country in the Vietnam Conflict. Scott worked for General Motors inNorton, MA for 34 years before he recently retiring. He is survived by two brothers; Brian Gagner of Salisbury, North Carolina and Terry Gagner of Bristol, three sisters; Rachael D'Andrea and her husband Vincent of Bristol, Jane Gagliardi and her husband Frank of Bristol and Brenda Mitchell and her husband Robert of Bedford, MA and several nieces and nephews; Eric Gagner, Jeffrey and David D'Andrea, Antonio, Giovanni and Domenic Gagliardi. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 21 at 10 a.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to American Cancer Society.
