Rose Mossa

Rose (Longo) Mossa, 91 of Southington, passed away January 6, 2016 at the Bristol Hospital. She was the widow of Peter Mossa, Sr.

She was born in Bristol, Connecticut on November 6, 1924 the daughter of the late Peter and Sebastiana (Drago) Longo.

She was a member of St. Anthony Church.

She is survived by a son Peter Mossa, Jr. and his wife Jane of Burlington, a daughter, Carol Ann Mossa of East Greenwich, Rhode Island. 4 grandchildren, Anthony Michael and his wife Magdalena (Narewska) Mossa, Katherine Lee and her husband David Whitney, Lindsey Davitt and Matthew Davitt and 1 great granddaughter, Grace Whitney.

She is pre-deceased by her brothers, Frank and John Longo and a sister, Margaret (Longo) Plocharsky.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday , January 9, 2016 at 10:30 AM at the Dunn Funeral Home 191 West St., Bristol, CT. Friends may call the funeral home from 9:00 AM until time of service. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery Bristol.
