Roger Nizinski , 88, of Torrington, beloved husband of thelate Teresa (Zimnicka) Nizinski, passed away on Wednesday, February16, 2022 at Hartford Hospital.Roger was born in Lisieux, France on December 1, 1933, son ofthe late Jan Nizinski and Stanislawa (Kusz) Nizinska. After livingin France, Germany and Poland, Roger immigrated to the US in1987. He worked as a press operator for the Torrington Co.Square Bearing Department and retired in 1999. Roger andTeresa were parishioners of St. Stanislaus Church in Bristol.He is survived by two sons, Sylwester and his wife MalgorzataNizinski of Bristol, Krzysztof and his wife Barbara Nizinski ofTorrington, a daughter, Elzbieta and her husband BogdanOzimski of Torrington, five grandchildren, Teresa, Izabela,Marek, Julia and Aleksander, two great grandchildren, Thora andSophia, a brother Czeslaw Mruk and a sister Janina Ruszczakboth of Poland. Besides his wife, he was predeceased by adaughter, Alicja Niver of Torrington.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10 AM at St.Stanislaus Church 510 West St Bristol.
