Robert Ruby, 78, of Bristol, passed away at his home on June 2, 2013, he was the widower of Trula (Ramsey) Ruby.
He was born in Waterbury on Feb. 27, 1935, the son of the late Ralph and Mae (Moore) Ruby. He served his country during peace time in the United States Army.
He worked for several brass mills for many years and retired in 2000.
He is survived by two stepchildren one brother and three sisters.
_The funeral be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m., on June 5, 2013, at Dunn funeral home, 191 West St., Bristol. Friends may call the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 to the time of the service.
Burial will follow with military honors and St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
