Peter Morrone, Sr.

 Mr. Peter Morrone, Jr., 57 of Bristol, passed away at Yale-New Haven Hospital on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 surrounded by his family.

He was born in Paterno-Calabro, Province of Cosenza, Italy, on May 20, 1959 the son of the late Francesco and Giovanna (Nacaratto) Morrone.

Peter worked as a cars salesman for Volvo and Volkswagen for the past decade.

He is survived by two sons, Peter Morrone, Jr. and Anthony Morrone, two nephews, Pat and Frank DiMatteo, and his fiancé Sinthia Tavella and her two daughters Lauren and Christina.

He is predeceased by a sister, Adeline DiMatteo and a Brother, Louis Morrone.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony Church, ‪Bristol, CT‬, ‪at 10:00 on Monday, August 1, 2016‬. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Holy Family Chapel Mausoleum ‪Bristol, CT.‬ Calling hours will be at Dunn Funeral Home ‪191 West St., Bristol, CT 06010‬ ‪on Sunday from 1 to 3 PM‬.
