Norma A. (Scott) Gagner, 80, of Bristol passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer. Norma was born in Bristol June 27, 1929, to the late Hugh and Mary (Power) Scott. After retiring from Ingraham Indus./Bussman Mfg, she enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and cooking. She is survived by her sons, Terry Gagner of Bristol and Brian Gagner of Salisbury, N.C.; three daughters and sons in-laws, Rachael and Vincent D'Andrea, Jane and Frank Gagliardi of Bristol and Brenda and Robert Mitchell of Fairhaven, Mass.; four grandchildren, David D'Andrea, Jeffrey D'Andrea and his wife, Janice D'Andrea, Domenic Gagliardi and Eric Gagner; a great-granddaughter, Zoey D'Andrea; two sisters, Anna and Joseph Bachman of Bristol and Margarite Ritchie of West Hartford; and two brothers, Michael and Ceil Scott and Joseph and Kitty Scott of Vermont; two stepgrandsons, Antonio and Elizabeth Gagliardi and Giovanni Gagliardi; several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a son, Scott Gagner; a daughter, Noreen Norkus; her sisters, Margaret Spinelli, Ruth Palmisano, Mary Pons, Doris Scott and Rachael Scott; and brothers, John, Patrick and Eugene Scott. a memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2010, at 10 a.m., at St. Ann's Church, West Street, Bristol. Friends and family are invited to gather at Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol, Friday, April 23, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
