Nellie R. (Moore) Burpee
Terryville, Mrs. Nellie R. (Moore) Burpee, 60, of 70 Allentown Rd., passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2004 at her home. She was the wife of David Burpee.
She was born in Bridgton, Maine on May 26, 1944 the daughter of the late Roland and Ruth (Whitten) Moore.
She was a resident of Terryville most of her life. She worked at Etna for 10 years and Bradlees for nine years until it closed.
Her attitude in life was treat people as you would want to be treated.
Beside her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Delores Deer of Bethany and Colleen Milles of Evansville, IN.; one brother, Ronald Moore of Fairview, CA; and one sister, Muriel Nash of Virginia Beach, VA.; four grandchildren, Tristan Milles, Logan Milles, Arianna Tate and Faith Maria Deer; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am at the Founders Congregational Church, 41 Birge Park Rd., Harwinton. Burial will be at the convience of the family. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of service. Dunn Funeral Home 191 West St., Bristol is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the donors choice.
