Mrs. Mildred (Raffanello) Rosabella, 87, formerly of 20 Marvin St. Bristol passed away on February 8, 2005 at the Nursing Care Center of Bristol.
She was the wife for 60 years to Anthony J. Rosabella.
Mildred was born in Bristol on September 29, 1917 the daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Roccanello) Raffanello, Sr.
She was a resident of Bristol her entire life and worked at New Departure Hyatt Division of GM and E. Ingraham company. She was a member of St. Anthony Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Donna Gorneault and her husband, Clifford, of Bristol and Tina Rosabella and her husband, Mark Rubins, of Southington; a brother, Carmen Raffanello, and a sister, Marie Baylock, both of Bristol; three grandchildren, Jason Gorneault and his wife, Janice, Jeremy Gorneault and Lara Nichols and her husband, Tom, a fourth grandchild to arrive soon from China; five great grandchildren, Ava and Abigail Gorneault, Tommy, Ella and Kyla Nichols; and several nieces and nephews.
She is pre-deacaed by two brothers and three sisters, Alfred Raffanello, Louis Raffanello, Jr., Gloria Michalsky, Betty Bunnell and Rosemary Scoville.
The funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:00 am from Dunn Funeral Home 191 West St. Bristol to St. Anthony Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.
