Morris S. Green
Morris "Moe" S. Green, 66, of 55 Gaylord St., Bristol, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2008, at Subacute Center in Forestville. He was the husband of Julienne (Duval) Green. He was born in Woodland, Maine, May 31, 1941, the son of the late Clayton G. and Mary I. (Swimm) Green. Moe worked at O-Z/Gedney Co. for more than 13 years. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, serving in the Army for 19 years, and received the Purple Heart. Moe was a member of the American Legion, DAV and Capt. Edmund P. Zbikowski Post No. 2 and the Polish Club. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Jason M. Green, and a daughter, Michelle Green, both of Bristol; two sisters, Janet Turner of Illinois and Joan Behrman of Colorado; two grandchildren, Amaya Green and Skylher Green-Simons; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Aden and Terrance Green. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol. Burial will follow with military honors in the State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown.
