Matthew Clavette, 26, of Bristol, passed away Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, in Ohio. Matthew was born in New Britain, the son of Diane Parkhurst and David Clavette. He worked for Ho Wolden Trucking Co. in Green Bay, Wis.

Besides his parents, he is survived by a stepmother, Darlene Hovhanessian of Bristol, and a stepfather, Fred Parkhurst of Manchester; and a sister, Jennifer Aiudi and her husband, Dane of New Britain. He also leaves behind two stepsisters, Marlo Perino and her fiancAC.e, Brett McQuiggan, and Ellissa Persino and her fiancAC.e, Brian Killeen. Grand parents, Ramona Clavette of Wolcott and Lillian Lavoie of Bristol; aunts and uncles, Donna and Bob Guest of Austin, Texas, Jeff and Kelly Lavoie of East Haven, Tom and Paula Markie of Bristol; nieces and nephews, Mason, Madison, Eve, Mia and Kara; a special friend, Resy Layton and her son, Lucky Layton, of Bristol; and also Shean and his wife, Samantha Layton of Bristol.

Matt was predeceased by grandfathers, Herby Clavette and Roger Lavoie.
Matt's other love than his family and friends was music.

Friends may call at Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol; Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m., with a service at 7 p.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol at the convenience of the family.
