Mary Quito
Mary Quinto, 79, of Shepherd Park, Hartford, died Friday, April 25, 2008, at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Italy, Oct. 8, 1928, the daughter of Luigi and Adeline (Colantone) Quinto. She leaves a sister, Victoria Klosowski; a nephew, Michael Klosowski, both of Bristol; a niece, Lori Sollima and her husband, Paul, of Glendale, Ariz.; and their son, Christopher. She also leaves a half sister, Linda Mannarino an her family. Mary was often seen with her scooter around Hartford no matter what the weather.
She was well known as being a member of the Hartford Commission for the Handicapped for 17 years.
Special thanks go to her "adopted daughter," Leigh Cyr, who couldn't do enough for Mary. Also dedicated longtime friends, Judy, Thelma, Jackie, Mary R., Ann, Mary T. and Muriel.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. There are no calling hours. Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol, is in charge of arrangements
