BRISTOL - Marie (Doyer) Leone, 86, of 371 Emmett St., passed away Friday, Sept. 22, 2006 at her home. She was the widow of John J. Leone Sr. She was born Feb. 24, 1920 in Fon-tainebleau, Canada, the daughter of the late Louis P. and Ida (Bernier) Doyer. Marie was a resident of Bristol for 84 years and worked at Superior Electric for 18 years, before she retired in 1983. She was a member of St. Ann Church. Marie was an avid Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics and New England Patriots fan. She is survived by four sons, An-thony, John Jr., Roland and William; three daughters, Jac-queline Macaluso, Mary Stin-chon and Patricia Tincher; a sister, Germaine Dimmer; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol to St. Ann Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Friends may call the funeral home Wednes-day from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Marie's name to St. Ann Development Fund, 215 West St., Bristol, CT 06010.
