Maria M. (Pittalis) Cuccureddu
Maria Pittalis Cuccureddu, 98, of Bristol passed away Thursday, June 3, 2010.
She was born in Cheremule (Sardinia), Italy, Nov. 28, 1911, and immigrated in 1948. She was the widow of Salvatore Cuccureddu and after retiring from Stanley Plating Co., she enjoyed gardening, flowers and being with her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Anthony Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Cuccureddu and Maria Fabrini; a son, and daughter-in-law, Leonard and Patricia Cuccureddu; six grandchildren, Toni and Christopher Cuccureddu, Julius, Nadia, Sandra and Dino Fabrini; and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Tuesday (June 8, 2010) at 9 a.m. from Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol, to St. Anthony's Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Bristol. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday (June 7, 2010) from 5-8 p.m.
