Margaret (Sullivan) Swift
Margaret (Sullivan) Swift, 97, formerly of Bradley Street, Bristol, passed away Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008, at Nursing Care Center in Bristol. She was the widow of John Joseph Swift. She was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, March 27, 1910, the daughter of the late Jeremiah and Catherine (Roach) Sullivan. Mrs. Swift was a member of St. Joseph Church and the Ladies Guild of the church. She was retired from E. Ingraham Co. over 30 years ago, where she worked for 42 years. She loved to bowl and was in many leagues for years. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her twin sister, Mary S. Bouchard. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
