Manuel L. Cova

Manuel L. Cova, 97, of Bristol passed away on December 11, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital. He was the widower of Madeline (Vontell) Cova.

Manuel was born on August 6, 1924 in New Bedford,MA the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Point) Cova.
He worked for 30 years at Wallace Barnes company before he retired.
He is survived by one son, William Cova of Bristol, a daughter, Alice Bordner of Thomaston, CT. Nine grandchildren; Kim, Carole, Sandy, Steven, Monique, Toni, Brenda, Craig and Angel. 17 Great Grandchildren. Plus several nieces and nephews and a father to seven foster children in Connecticut.
Manuel was pre-deceased by a daughter, Christine Bishop and three sons, John and David and Richard Cova.
Family and friends may call at Dunn Funeral Home191 West St. Bristol on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 9:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 Am at St. Francis de Sales St. Ann Church 215 West St. Bristol. Burial will follow in Peacedale Cemetery, Bristol.
