Leonard J. "Corky" Cifone, Jr., 73, of Bristol, CT, passed away, Sunday, July 12th, at Bristol Hospital.
Leonard was born in Bristol, CT on November 4, 1941, a son of the late Bernice (Zepecki) and Leonard J. Cifone, Sr.
He served in the National Guards for 6 years and was a volunteer for Burlington Fire Department for many years.
He was employed as a machinist at New Departure Hyatt Division of General Motors for 30 years before he retired in 1997.
Leonard was avid sportsman, coach and fan. He was a devoted Yankee fan.
Leonard is survived by a daughter, Tracy C. Angelillo, two sons, Timothy J. Cifone and his fiancé Susan E. Rotondo,
Michael J. Cifone and his wife Amanda D. Fioretti, and their mother Priscilla R. Cifone, two grandsons, Matthew and Nicholas Angelillo and their father Robert Angelillo.
The family will hold a private ceremony for Leonard J. Cifone.
Leonard was always known as a dog lover (Labradors), so the family asks that any memorials be donated to Labs4resue,inc., PO Box 955, Killingworth, CT 06419.
