Lenora A. (Bulla) Marano
BRISTOL - Lenora A. (Bulla) Marano, 69, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2007, at Bristol Hospital. She was the loving wife to Frank M. Marano. She was born in Bristol, Jan. 16, 1938, the daughter of the late Andrew and Annunziata "Nancy" (Albano) Bulla. Lenora lived in the Bristol area her whole life and was a member of St. Anthony Church. She graduated at the top of her class in 1958 from White Plains Hospital School of Nursing and was a dedicated nurse that worked in the Bristol Hospital operating room for over 25 years before she retired. Besides her husband she is survived by a son, Andrew J. Marano of Bristol; a brother, Henry Botto; two sisters, Ann Beattie and Josephine and her husband, Christas Bogazis; two brother in-laws, Ethan Alling and Pat Favara; two sister-in-laws, Harriet Botto and Theresa Favara, all from Bristol; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a son, Michael A. Marano, who passed away in 1988 and a brother Dominico Botto, and two sisters, Mary Alling and Antoinette Kusiak. Lee was a loving, caring, giving wife and mother, as well as a confidant and trusted advisor to all. She will be sorrowfully missed, never forgotten and always loved. Funeral will be held Wednesday, at 9 a.m., from Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol to St. Anthony Church for a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
