Kenneth S. Kaczypenski
Kenneth S. Kaczypenski, 87, of 17 Phelan St., Plainville, formally of Bristol, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2008, at the home of his daughter. He was the widower of Ruby (Simmons) Kaczypenski. Kenneth was born in Bristol, Sept. 21, 1920, the son of the late Adam and Stanislawa (Mureska) Kaczypenski. He was a veteran in WWII, serving in the Air Forces. He worked for Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford for over 40 years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Church. He is survived three daughter, Stephanie and her husband, Roger, of Terryville, Tina and her husband, Anthony Woznicki Sr., of Plainville and Lora and her husband, Alan Pressey, of Pittsfield, Maine; a sister, Violet Mather; five grandchildren, Anthony Jr., Amy, and Andrew Woznicki, Robin and her husband, Jason Brochu, and Paul (Bubba) Raye and his wife, Ashley Flood; two great grandchildren, Leora Ruby and Paul Joseph (P.J.) Raye ; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside service with military honors will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. There are no calling hours. Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol is in charge of the arrangements.
