Kathleen Milne Falker passed away peacefully on January 16, 2024, shortly after her 80th
birthday.
She lived a wonderful life, filled with everything she dreamed of for herself as a child.
Born in Connecticut in 1944, she moved to various beautiful places throughout her adult life
before finally returning to Connecticut in 2019.
One of her favorite places to visit was Paris, sparked by the few months she spent studying
there in 1969. She loved France and returned several times throughout her life.
She cherished her Irish heritage and always looked forward to her next visit to the Emerald Isle
to reconnect with family.
Family was everything to her. She was a loving wife, a proud mom and eventually an even
prouder grandmother.
Kathleen was one of Cigna’s first women officers. She loved her distinguished career there.
Kathleen’s smile lit up a room and she was always excited for a cocktail party or a conversation
about where to visit next. She looked upon the world with optimism, warmth, empathy, and
curiosity.
Kathleen is survived by her husband Michael, her two sons, Jonathan and Nicholas, and her
five grandchildren.
In later life, she battled bravely through dementia for years. In lieu of flowers or other gifts, the
family would appreciate donations made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, January 20th, at 11am Eastern at Holy Family Mausoleum,
in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Bristol, CT. Dunn Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Connecticut Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association. You may make a donation by following the link below.
