Dearest Julia (Przybylko) Markot, 102, entered into heaven on Monday, August 8th, at Shady Oaks Retirement Center.
She lived a long and happy life, born in Sayreville, NJ on November 12, 1913, a daughter of the late Mary (Dusko) and George Przybylko.
Julia moved to Pequabuck at a young age. The eldest of five children, she went to work for Dr. & Mrs. Gore as a nanny and housekeeper. Julia’s family moved to Bristol where she met her loving and devoted husband of 64 years, Felix (Phil) Markot. They followed the Gore family to Colorado, where they lived for many years before moving back to Bristol. Julia loved flowers, gardening and baking, she made the best apple pie ever. She enjoyed working bingo nights at St. Stanislaus Church and being a member of the Golden Agers there.
She worked at Bussman Division Of Cooper Industries in Bristol for 15 years and retiring 1976.
She leaves her devoted sister, Mary Moros of Bristol. A nephew Roy Marble and his family, nephew Paul Bielert and his family, and her loving Goddaughter Kella Burgess, and devoted friends who will miss her greatly.
Special thanks to the wonderful devoted people at Shady Oaks in Bristol. They took her into their hearts and made her part of their “extended family”.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St Stanislaus Church. Burial will follow in St Joseph Cemetery.
