Joyce (Goodrich) Dutkiewicz, 77, passed away after a long illness at the Countryside Manor in Bristol. She was the widow of Joseph O. Dutkiewicz. She was born June 16, 1935 the daughter of the late William and Alice (Hartley) Goodrich.
She was employed by the Hotel Marriott and the Bristol Hospital. She also was a foster parent for the state of Connecticut for 10 years
She leaves three daughters, Paula Petersen and her fiancAC., Greg Marcinko, Nancy Dutkiewicz and her partner Shawn Myers and Linda Daversa, and sister Sharon Goodrich in CA. She also leaves her extended family, Wanda and David Vanden Heuvel. Four grandchildren, Cassie and Ashley Vander Heuvel and Audrey and Jonathan Daversa, and a great granddaughter, Brooklyn Eldred in CT. Family and longtime friends in the Midwest.
She is predecease by her brother, George W Goodrich and a sister Sally (Goodrich) Lewis.
The family extends their gratitude to the staff of Country side Manor for their kindness and compassion
There are no calling hours. Private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place in West Cemetery Bristol.
Dunn funeral home 191 West St., Bristol is in charge of arrangements.
