Mr. Joseph C. Scalia, 50, of 76 Barlow St., Bristol passedaway Saturday, (December 6, 2008), at the Bristol Hospital. Joseph was born in Bristol on April 6, 1958 the son of Antoinette "Ann" (DiNuzzo) Scalia and the late Frank Scalia. He was a lifelong resident of Bristol and graduated from Bristol Central High School. He was a member of St. Anthony Church. Joe worked for and was a co-owner of Scalia Brother's for 35 years. He loved his motorcycles and enjoyed snowmobiles, quads and dirt bikes. Besides his mother of Bristol, he is survived by three sons; Frank, Joseph and Cody Scalia and two daughters; Chelsea, and Kasie Scalia; a longtime Girlfriend Joyce Kucharski; two sisters, Ann-Marie Russo and her husband Gabe and Gina Scalia all of Bristol; a grandson Frank Scalia, plus many nieces, nephews and cousins and a special cousin Nick Santullo . The Funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 a.m. from Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol to St. Anthony Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
