Johnny E. Jones

BRISTOL- Mr. Johnny "JayJay" E. Jones, 69, passed away on Monday July 4, 2022 at the VA Hospital in West Haven. 

Johnny was born in Waterbury on September 21, 1952, son of the late Johnny E. Jones Sr. and Mildred (Burdette) Turner.  He attended Waterbury public schools and received an Associate’s Degree from Post University.  He was a veteran of the US Air Force. Johnny worked for many years at Pratt and Whitney in Southington. He retired from Bristol Hospital and was a Bristol resident for over 20 years.

He is survived by two sons Andre Johnson and Jayson Johnson and a daughter Lakiah Thomas-Harper all of Waterbury. Two brother’s William Burdette of Danbury and Gregory Burdette of Waterbury and a sister Debra Harris of Leominster, MA and a host of nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service with Military Honors on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, 1 p.m. at the CT Veterans Cemetery 317 Bow Ln in Middletown.
