John T. Hennessy

John T Hennessy III , 68,  peacefully passed away on February 16, 2018 at the Hospital of Central CT.  John was born in Bristol and was a  lifelong resident.  John was the son of the late John and Mary Hennessy. John attended Bristol Eastern High School and Central CT State University. He worked for many years for Murphy Security. In his youth he played for the American Legion and carried his love of baseball throughout his life. John leaves behind his sister Maureen Swarts and her husband John, nephews Jeff Stokes, Tim and wife Jamie Stokes and Peter Swarts, his nieces Jennifer Stokes and Diane Swarts, his great niece Mia, great nephews Devin, Mason and James John, several aunts and uncles, cousins and his aide Scalah who took such wonderful care of him. A memorial mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Church in Bristol on Wednesday March 7, 2018 at 10:00. There will be no calling hours.
