Jean Ann Winifred (Barber) Mizzello, 57, Bristol, passed away peacefully Wednesday, (July 6, 2011) at home. She was the wife of Thomas K. Mizzell. Born July 14, 1953 in Hamilton, Ohio to Eugene and Patricia (Gluhm) Barber, who preceded her in death. Jean c ame to Connecticut in 1965, and gradated from Farmington High School in 1971. She moved to Bristol to raise her family, and worked for Memorial Boulevard School. Jean is survived by her husband Thomas K. Mizzell. She also leaves a daughter, Katelyn and a son Austin, both of Bristol. Siblings include Susan (Jeff) Haynes of Pompano Beach FL;, Gerald (Karen) Barber of Elm City NC, Thomas (Christina) Barber of St. Petersburg FL, and Ann Barber of St. Petersburg FL. Her brother Richard preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Dunn Funeral Home 191 West St., Bristol on Sunday July 10, 2011 from 2-5 p.m. Everyone is invited to meet at St. Gregory The Great Church, 235 Maltby St, Bristol on Monday July 11, 2011 at 10 a.m. for Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Fr.
