Jane Carlson

Jane (Kendall) Carlson, 78 of Bristol, CT passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021 at The Bristol Hospital. She was the wife of Ralph W. Carlson. They married in 1966. Jane was born in Bristol, on April 28, 1943, the daughter of the late Frank Elliott Kendall, Jr. and Helen (Sessions) Kendall. She attended St. Joseph School and graduated from Bristol Central High School, class of 1962. In her early years she clerked in the family store “The Kendall’s Gift Shop”. She loved camping the Adirondacks with her family. She worked for the Bristol Board of Education as a cafeteria worker for 25 years and retired 12 years ago. She bred, trained and showed her beloved Weimaraners. Was a member of The Nutmeg Weimaraner Club, and she also enjoyed horses and antiques. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Hunter S. Carlson of Bristol, a daughter, Sarah K. Carlson-Cote and her husband Charles Cote of Burrville. A brother, Hunter S. Kendall of Long Lake, NY and a sister, Mary Duncan of Bristol, plus several nieces and nephews. Private service and burial will be held at a later date in West Cemetery, Bristol.
