Helen (Szalapski) Baczewski
Helen (Szalapski) Baczewski, 88, formerly of South St. Extension, Bristol passed away Saturday, January 10, 2004 at Plainville Health Care. She was the widow of Ludomir Baczewski.
Mrs. Baczewski was born in Holyoke, Massachucetts on May 2, 1915 the daughter of the late Leon and Josephine (Lisiecki) Szalapski.
A resident of Bristol most of his life. A member of St. Stanislaus Church. Past member of The Golden Ages, Ladies Guild and Legion of Mary.
Helen is lovingly survived by his son and daughter-in-law Richard and Nancy Baczewski of Bristol, a sister, Josephine Pencikowski of Bristol. She is also survived by two wonderful grandsons, Richard and Jason and his wife Marieluise, Baczewski and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is pre-deceased by a brother, Gene Szalapski and a sister Mary Larue.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2004 at 8:30 at the Dunn Funeral Home 191 West St. Bristol to St. Stanislaus Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 Am. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM.
Donations can be made to either Plainville Health Care or Bristol Hospital new addition.
