Grace Vedera

Grace (Dougeneck ) Vedera, 87, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Bristol Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of Joseph E. Vedera. She was born on May 17, 1929 daughter of the late Frank and Josephine (Skritulsky) Dougeneck. She worked for various law firms in Bristol for over 30 years and retired in 1990. She was a member of Golden Agers and The Ladies Guild of St. Stanislaus Church. Besides her husband she is survived by 3 sisters, Marion Zang of Plainville, Teresa (Terry) Dougeneck and Ursula Dougeneck both of Bristol. A brother, Robert Dougeneck of Bristol and a sister in-law Barbara Dougeneck. Plus several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Frank Dougeneck, Jr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at St Stanislaus Church. Burial will follow in St Joseph Cemetery.
