Grace C. (Paparello) Mascia, 81, of Robbins Avenue, Bristol, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010, at Sheriden Woods Health Care Center. She was the wife of Frank Mascia. She was born in Corato, Provence of Bari, Italy, April 25, 1928, the daughter of the late John and Angela (Olivieri) Paparello. She was a member of St. Anthony Church. Grace attended local schools and was a graduate of Bristol High School Class of 1946. Before retiring in 1990, she was employed at Cooper Industries, Bussman Division. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter and son in-law, Dyanne and Jeff Hanelius; granddaughter, Ariel; grandson, Jacob, all of North Granby; two brothers, James Paparello and his wife, Anita, of Bristol and Charles Paparello and his wife, Janice, of Florida; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by three brothers, Joseph, Louis and Michael Paparello, and two sisters, Mary Eisleben and Rose Piotrowski. Private service will be held at Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. www.Dunnfh.com
