Genowefa (Smiechowiczie) Krymarys

Genowefa (Jenny) Krymarys, 98, of Bristol, CT, passed away Monday, November 20th, at Countryside Manor, Bristol. She was the widow of Wladyslaw Krymarys.

Genowefa was born in Tomaszow Mazowiecki, Poland on November 3, 1925, Daughter of the late Konstaneia (Woiciechowska) and Stanislaw Smiechowicz.

She came to this country in 1951, settled in Bristol and worked at Stanley Plating for a number of years before she retired.

Genowefa will be remembered as a kind, gentle woman who was always busy tending her gardens, knitting incredible sweaters and lap covers and cooking the best pastries and perogies. These were just a few of her many talents and interests.
She was a lifetime member of St. Stanislaus Church.
She was a member of the Golden Agers, Supper Club and loved singing in the Polish choir.

She is survived by two daughters, Christine Phelps of Durham, Me and Sophie Martin and her husband James of Nolensville, Tn. Four grandchildren, Bryan Martin, Carrie Hammonds, Jason Phelps and Aaron Phelps.
Four great-grandchildren, Andrew and Adam Martin, Tyler and Katie Ann Hammonds. We would also like to thank Richard and Bernadette Bartosch who contributed to her quality of life over many years.
 

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, November 29 at
10:30 at St Stanislaus Church in Bristol. Calling hour will be held for relatives and friends from 9 to 10 am at the Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St.,
Bristol, Ct 06010. Burial will follow in St Joseph's Cemetery.
