Frieda (Jabs) Jobs
Frieda (Jabs) Jobs, 86, formerly of Redstone Hill Rd., Bristol passed away Saturday, (August 25, 2007) at Sheriden Woods Health Care. She was the widow of Edward Jobs. Frieda was born in Poland on May 22, 1921 the daughter of the late Emil and Amelia (Hanks) Jabs. She came to the United States in 1950. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She is survived by three sons and their spouses, Oscar and Barbara Jobs of Bristol, Helmut and Mary Jobs of Southington and Arnold and Joyce Jobs of Carmella, IN, three daughters; Loretta Jobs, Ingebor and Patrick Harrington both of Bristol, and Linda Laufer of Bethlehem, GA, two brothers; Waldermar Jabs and Emil Jabs both of Bristol, three sisters; Lydia Strunk and Martha Heim both of Bristol nad Erna Rhode of Terryville. 13 Grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
She is pre-deceased by two brothers Albert and Julius Jabs and s sister Tina Strunk.
Friends may call at the Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 154 Meadow St., Bristol. Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until time of the service at the church. Burial will follow in West Cemetery.
