Mr. Francesco Morrone, of Bristol, passed away at the Bristol Hospital, Thursday, (April 29, 2010), to be reunited with his wife of more than 50 years, Giovanna (Nacaratto) Morrone; his daughter, Adeline DiMatteo; and his son, Luigi Morrone. Frank was 92 years-old and was surrounded by members of his loving family when he passed. Francesco was born in Paterno-Calabro, Cosenza, Italy on January 18, 1918, and emigrated from Italy to America in 1961. He worked for Bristol Brass for many years, and also for OZ Gedney, and Foodmart. He was a member of St. Anthony's Church. Frank enjoyed many Sunday meals with his family, tending to his large vegetable garden, and watching wrestling with his grandchildren. He will be missed greatly. He is survived by his son, Peter Morrone and fiancAC. Sinthia; grandchildren, Pasquale DiMatteo, Frank DiMatteo and his wife Pamela, Peter Morrone Jr. and fiancAC. Brie, Anthony Morrone; his son-in-law, Mario DiMatteo; and great-granddaughter, Jocelyn. Service and burial will be private. Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol is in charge of the arrangements.
