Fernande (Angers) Lessard
Fernande (Fern) (Angers) Lessard, wife of Andre (Andy) Lessard, passed away peacefully with her family's love surrounding her, on Thursday, July 1st at Bristol Hospital. Fern was born in Bristol, CT on May 4th, 1930. the daughter of the late Henri and Floride (Valliere) Angers. Fern was retired from Travelers Insurance Company after 35 years. She was active in the Ladies of St. Ann and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Franco American War Veterans. Fern was a loving and caring mother for her family and friends. She enjoyed her Florida home during the winter and loved reading and gardening. Also one of her great loves was her close group of childhood friends that met regularly.

Besides her loving husband of 59 years, she also leaves behind her two brothers and sister-in-law from Bristol, Gerald Angers and Albert Angers and Patricia Angers. Her three children and sons-in-law, Susan Lessard Ragaini and Thomas Ragaini of Bristol, Paul Lessard of West Hartford, and Diane (Lessard) Bowen and Robert Bowen of New Hartford.. Six grandchildren, Matthew and Jennifer (Jarrow) Ragaini, Nicholas Ragaini, Shaun and Rachel DiYulio from Bristol and Crystal DiYulio from New Hartford. Lastly the lights of her life, her four great grandchildren Angela Ragaini, Chelsey Dennis, Jenna and Katie DiYulio and several nieces and nephews.

Lastly Fern's family would love to thank all of the wonderful professional workers and care she received from Bristol Hospital and Ingraham Manor.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 6 at 9:00 AM at Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West Street, Bristol, CT. to St. Ann Church for a 10:00 AM Christian Mass. Burial will follow to Saint Joseph Cemetery in Bristol.
