Emma Sarah Gonsalves

Emma Sarah (Noyes) Gonsalves, 87, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Ingraham Manor. We lost our loving, beautiful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. Emma was born in Bristol, CT the daughter of the late Donald & Florence (Lamore) Noyes on February 16, 1928. Emma worked for Superior Electric 28 years and Rally Springs 10.  Emma loved to laugh and enjoy long visits at McDonalds drinking coffee with wonderful friends. Emma lived a very simple life surrounded by friends and her loving family. Emma spent her last few months at Ingraham Manor where she passed away peacefully surrounded by family, nurses, aides, and many others that had a chance to meet her and love her. Emma loved all the people that cared for her and appreciated them so much, she would share her favorite candy "York Dark Chocolate Peppermint Patties".

Emma leaves behind her two sons, Peter Gonsalves who lives in Westbrook, CT, Ernie (Skip) Gonsalves who lives in Amston, CT with his wife Elizabeth Gonsalves, one daughter, Sandi (Gonsalves) Neldner who lives in Manhattan Beach, CA with her husband Steve Neldner, nine grandchildren, Will, Eli, Aaron, Ryan, Kelsey, Matt, Jonathan, Laura and Andrew, four great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sister Ruby Pirro.

 In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Bristol Hospital Home Care & Hospice in her memory.

A celebration of her life will be held in the spring.
