Domenica Spinello Bisignano
Domenica Spinello Bisignano, 86, died peacefully after a courageous, determined fight with Alzheimer's Disease, November 28, 2012 in Orlando, FL, surrounded by her loving sons, John A. Bisignano Jr. and Thomas F. Bisignano. Domenica, "Callie", as she was known to all who loved her, was a daughter of the late Frank and Ester (Colipietro) Spinello. She was born in Gary, West, Virginia, resided in Bristol most of her life before living in Orlando, FL for the past several years. She worked over thirty years for the Wallace Barnes Corporation. She was an active member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, and of St. Christopher Catholic Church in Celebration, FL. She was a member of the Elks Club, where she and her husband, John, spent many Saturday nights dancing with dear friends. "Callie" had a love of travel and conversation, especially when it included visiting her children and grandchildren, and took great pleasure in attending her grandchildren's school, dance, and sports events and sharing heartwarming stories about each of her grandchildren. She will be most remembered as a warm, gentle, loving, caring, and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was predeceased by her brothers, Angelo Spinello, Anthony Spinelli, and Steven Spinello. Survivors include daughters, Linda B. Conlin and husband, Shaun, of Fairfax, Va. and Paula B. Rimer and husband S. Robert Rimer of Stuart, Fla.; sons John A. Bisignano Jr. and wife, Kathleen, and Thomas F. Bisignano and wife, Terri, all of Orlando, Fla.; her grandchildren, Army Major Shaun S. Conlin Jr. and wife Elizabeth of Newport, RI, Sarah C. Heinz and husband, Marine Corps Captain Derek Heinz of Beaufort, SC, Keegan P. Bird and Hanna J. Bird of Stuart, Fla., Kelsey F. Bisignano and Justin T. Bisignano of Orlando, Fla., and John A. Bisignano III and Emily K. Bisignano of Orlando, Fla.; her sisters, Ann Padavic of Benton, IL, AnnSue Wojenski and husband Joseph, Rose Bouchard, Mary Tribruzio and husband, Peter, and Joan Nicastro all of Bristol; her sister-in-laws, Angie B. Roberts, Mickey B. Pasqualicchio, Ann B. Bisignano all of Bristol; Yolanda Androillion, her loving and devoted Caretaker of Orlando, FL; and many nieces, nephews and friends. The funeral will be held Saturday, December 1 at 8:00 a.m. from Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol to St. Anthony Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.
