Dana J. Pelletier
BRISTOL - Dana J. Pelletier, 60, of 59 Talmadge St., Bristol, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at his home. He was the husband of Sandie (Mason) Pelletier. Dana was born in Fort Kent, Maine, March 27, 1947, the son of Annette (Campbell) Pelletier and the late Alyre J. Pelletier. When he was 2 years old, his family moved to New Britain and to Bristol when he was 15. He served in the U.S. Marines. He worked at Central Metals in Plainville and for 30 years he worked at Mattatuck Industrial Scrap Metal Inc. in Wolcott. He was an avid fisherman and loved camping and his Red Sox. He loved to travel and enjoyed Las Vegas and cruises. He even went on a cruise with the Red Sox. Beside his wife and mother of Bristol, he is survived by a daughter, Mellissa Pelletier; two sisters and brother-in-law, Diane Leonard of Bristol and Cathy and Larry Booska of Bristol; several nieces and nephews; and his dog, Diamond.
He is predeceased by a brother, Paul Pelleteri and a sister Geneva Pisarski.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
