Congetta Devito

Bristol, Congetta (Caminiti) Devito, 92, of Terryville, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016 at the Bristol Hospital. She was the widow of Joseph Devito, Sr.
She is born in Charleston, West Virginia on October 6, 1923 the daughter of the late Charles and Santi (Deuso) Caminiti.

She began working at Wallace Barnes and stopped to raise her family. Later Congetta worked at the Fisher Middle School in Terryville for many years. She enjoyed living on the lake with all her family and friends gathering for picnics. She was an avid bingo and card player and love to travel the world.

She is survived by two sons, Joseph Devito, Jr. of Plainville and Vincent Devito of Terryville. Three brothers, Joseph, Albert and James Caminiti and two sisters, Anna Serratore and Ceil Whinem. One granddaughter Angela Devito and two great-grandchildren Sean Joseph Devito and Destiny Devito. Plus several nieces and nephews.
Congetta is predeceased by two brothers, Tony and William Caminiti and two Grandsons, Andrew Devito and Sean Devito.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 13 at 11:00 AM at the Dunn Funeral Home 191 West St., Bristol, CT. Friends may call the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery Bristol.
