Chester Rzonca
Chester Rzonca, 95, of 131 Vance Drive, Bristol, passed away Aug. 27, 2013, at St. Francis Hospital, in Hartford. He was the husband of Norma (Cook) Rzonca.
Chester was born in Burlington, on March 26, 1918, the son of the late Ludwik and Eva (Marianski) Rzonca.
He was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Army. He worked for Veeder-Root in Hartford for 46 years before he retiring 1984. He also worked part time at Community Savings Bank for many years. Chester was a member of St. Stanislaus Church, and also Veeder-Root golf and bowling teams.
Besides his wife of Bristol, he is survived by one son, David and his wife Holly Rzonca; and one daughter, Nancy and her husband David Griffin, both of Bristol; four grandchildren, Christopher, Jordan, Avery and Morgan; and two great-grandchildren, Autumn and Jackson.
