BRISTOL - Carmina (Parenti) Gryskiewicz, 86, of 111 Union St., Bristol, passed away Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007, at the Nursing Care Center of Bristol. She was the widow of Stanley M. Gryskiewicz Sr. She was born April 7, 1921, in Bristol, the daughter of the late Domenico and Filomena (Corsetti) Parenti. Mrs. Gryskiewicz worked at New Departure-Hyatt Division of General Motors for 42 years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of St. Anthony Church and Bristol Senior Center. She is survived by a daughter, Cindy Roberts and her husband, Ken, of Bethel; a daughter-in-law, Lin-da (Gregoire) Gryskiewicz of Windsor; five grandchildren, Stanley Gryskiewicz III and Stacey M. Coleman, both of Windsor, and Casey, Matthew and Amanda Roberts, all from Bethel; two brothers, Julio and Olindo Parenti; and a sister, Elda Grabowski, all from Bristol; plus several nieces and nephews. Carmina was predeceased by her son, Stanley M. Gryskiewicz Jr. The funeral will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., to St. Anthony Church for a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
