Bernadette (L'Heurex) Micari
Bernadette (L'Heureux) Micari, 94, formerly of Tulip St., Bristol, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010, at Bristol Hospital. She was the wife of the late Arthur P. Micari with whom she shared 67 years of marriage. Bernadette was born in Hartford Oct. 9, 1915, the daughter of the late William and Melvina (Pratt) L'Heureux. She was a member of St. Ann Church, as well as the Ladies of St. Ann. She had been employed by New Departure, Ingraham Company, Tot 'n Toddler and retired from OZ/Gedney of Terryville. Bernadette is survived by her daughter, Barbara A. Charron of Putnam; sister, Florence Byrne; daughter in-law, Diana Micari; sister in-law, Mary Micari; brother-in-law and sister in-law, Frederick and Hilda Micari; four grandchildren, William and his wife, Sandy, Michael and his wife, Dana, Lori Hall and her husband, Spencer, and Gregg Charron; and five great-grandchildren, Morgan, Nicholas, Ryan, Matthew and Ethan; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her cherished and beloved son, Robert Micari; brother, Armand L'Heureux; sister, Catherine Breski; and son in-law, Rene Charron. The family would like to express their thanks to the Subacute Center of Bristol for the care given to Bernadette during her six-year stay at Subacute. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. from Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol, to St. Ann Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at noon. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
