Althea L. (Tousant) Kalentkowski
Althea "Penny" L. (Tousant) (Colapietro) Kalentkowski, 88, of Bristol passed away, Aug. 5, 2009, at her daughter's home in Unionville. She was born Oct. 19, 1920, in St. Johnsbury, Vt., the daughter of the late Alfred and Anna (Heath) Tousant. Althea lived most of her life in Bristol and worked at O-Z/Gedney Manufacturing Co. for 20 years until she retired in 1987. She was a member of Bonnie Acres, where she was a past president; she also was a volunteer at B.C.O. and belonged to St. John Episcopal Church. She is survived by two sons, Ralph Colapietro of Bristol and Michael Colapietro and his wife, Vicki, of Glastonbury; five daughters, Sandra Carlina and her husband, Pat, of Bristol, Arline Rich of Sanford, Maine, Susan Wentworth and her husband, Michael, of Manchester, Cheryle Simonik of Unionville and Dodie Cromack and her husband, Albert, of Unionville; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol.
