Alfred B. Vincent
Alfred B. Vincent, 75, of New Haven Ave., Plainville passed away Saturday (July 26, 2008), at his home. He was the husband of Irma Cordova-Vincent. Vincent was born in Modzerowo, Poland on April 14, 1933. He worked for many years as a toolmaker at New England Aircraft Products. He wrote A World of Poetry under the pen name of James Orville Beady, which was used at the University of Brazil, in foreign language classes. He was a monthly contributor to the University's news letter covering various topics. Besides his wife he is survived by a son, John Vincent, two daughters, Diana Vincent and Sherryl Litwinczyk; eight grandchildren, Christopher Wotton, Simone Litwinczyk, Erinne-Rose Litwinczyk, Alexandria Litwinczyk, Kristin Litwinczyk, Eliza Vincent, Andrea Vincent and Julianne Arnow. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at The Faith Bible Church, 168 Unionville Ave., Plainville. Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol is in charge of the arrangements
